GravyBread Community Guidelines
It's about the music. And the people who make it matter.
GravyBread is a place for people who love music to discover, share, discuss, and connect. Whether you're a fan, an independent artist, an established artist, or a music-industry professional, you're part of a community built around a shared love of music.
These guidelines help keep GravyBread welcoming, authentic, and respectful.
1. Respect the People Behind the Music
Music inspires strong opinions. Debate, criticism, and passionate discussion are welcome. Harassment, threats, hate speech, targeted abuse, and attempts to intimidate or humiliate others are not.
Disagree about the music without attacking the person. Respect people's boundaries when they ask you to stop contacting them.
2. Be Yourself. Be Authentic.
Don't impersonate another person, falsely represent yourself as an artist or their authorized representative, create misleading identities, or attempt to evade a suspension or other enforcement action.
Artist profiles and claims should be truthful. An unclaimed artist profile does not mean the artist has personally created, approved, or manages it.
3. Respect Music, Copyright, and Ownership
GravyBread's social music-sharing features let you share songs through supported music links and song cards—not by uploading or distributing audio files. Listeners follow the link to the relevant music service.
Only share artwork, photographs, lyrics, and other material you have the right to share. Don't use posts, messages, profiles, or other features to distribute copyrighted material unlawfully or misrepresent someone else's work.
The personal music player is separate from social sharing and is intended for private playback of music files on your own device. It is not a music-distribution service.
If you believe content on GravyBread infringes your rights, contact hello@iProdigy.xyz.
4. Keep the Community Genuine
Don't spam, manipulate engagement, manufacture fake activity, misrepresent streams or sales, or use deceptive tactics to gain followers or attention.
Promotion is welcome when it contributes to the community. Don't abuse GravyBread's features to flood feeds, messages, or discussions with repetitive or unwanted content.
Scams, fraudulent offers, and deceptive schemes have no place here.
5. Be Transparent When Promoting
If you're promoting your own music, a project, a business, or something you have a financial interest in, be honest about that connection.
Don't mislead people about endorsements, partnerships, affiliations, or the nature of a promotion.
6. Respect Privacy and Consent
Don't publish another person's private or sensitive information without permission, access accounts or files that aren't yours, or use personal information in ways people haven't agreed to.
Artist email subscriptions are separate from following an artist on GravyBread. Use fan email addresses only for the purposes disclosed when they subscribed, and respect unsubscribe requests.
Your personal music files in the built-in player are intended for your private use.
7. Keep Content Lawful and Appropriate
Don't use GravyBread to share unlawful content, exploit or endanger others, promote violence against people, or engage in abusive or discriminatory conduct.
Content involving exploitation, threats, or other serious safety concerns may be removed and escalated where appropriate.
8. Use Messages and Community Features Responsibly
Use posts, direct messages, comments, listening parties, scenes, shows, and other features in ways that respect the people participating.
Don't use messages to harass, threaten, scam, or repeatedly contact people who don't want to hear from you. Don't use community features to evade blocks or other boundaries.
9. Respect Artists and Fans
GravyBread is built to strengthen relationships between artists and the people who care about their music.
Respect artists' boundaries and fans' choices. Tips and other forms of support must be voluntary and free from deception or coercion. Don't promise access, outcomes, or rewards that you aren't authorized to provide.
Any future GravyBread Cash Rewards program will be subject to its own rules when introduced.
10. Report Problems
If you encounter content or behavior that appears to violate these guidelines, infringe rights, or put someone at risk, contact hello@iProdigy.xyz.
When reporting an issue, provide enough information for GravyBread to understand and review the concern. Please don't retaliate against or publicly target someone simply because you've reported them.
11. How We Enforce These Guidelines
GravyBread may review reports and take action when content or conduct violates these guidelines, our Terms & Conditions, or applicable law.
Depending on the circumstances, actions may include removing content, restricting features, issuing a warning, suspending or terminating an account, restricting an artist profile, or taking other appropriate steps.
Serious or repeated violations may result in stronger action. We may also preserve or disclose information when reasonably necessary to address safety, comply with legal obligations, or protect rights.
12. Passionate About Music. Respectful of People.
Music discussion should be lively. Disagreement is welcome. Different tastes, perspectives, and experiences make the community richer.
Challenge the opinion, not the person's right to be here.
Music has always been social. GravyBread is where music people live.
